Sworn Translation

Sworn translation is an official translation, valid before Brazilian authorities as well as those in other countries. Governed by the Law, sworn translation has an important role in official scenarios.

The Board of Trade of each state is responsible for selecting sworn translators.

Therefore, after being approved in a public exam, the sworn translator is granted an enrollment number and his/her translations become official documents from then on.

For this kind of translation, the translator has to have the original document in hand, which shall be stamped and returned.
